About The Position

The Relationship Banker Float supports the success of the banking center by achieving individual sales goals and completing customer-facing activities. The position works at multiple locations based on staffing needs and requires willingness to travel, with or without prior notice. Responsibilities may change over time due to organizational, technological, or staffing changes, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
Two to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of debits and credits.
Experience with customer relations.
Demonstrated ability to use a computer.
Willingness to learn and speak with customers about products and services and develop cross-selling skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Attention to detail and patience for repetitive tasks.
Skillful and accurate operation of a ten-key adding machine.
Demonstrated accuracy in numeric data processing.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed individual sales goals to contribute to banking center success.
Handle customer-facing activities, including opening new accounts, account maintenance, problem resolution, and sales and service activities.
Demonstrate knowledge of bank products and services.
Use relationship-building skills to acquire, expand, and retain customer relationships.
Perform teller transactions on a regular or occasional basis as needed.
Follow Teller and Relationship Banker policies and procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
Process a variety of transactions and use sound judgment to determine transaction validity.
Escalate transactions outside delegated authority or that appear questionable to the Assistant Banking Center Manager or Banking Center Manager.
Travel to multiple locations according to staffing needs, with or without prior notice.
