About The Position
Orange County’s Federal Credit Union is hiring a Relationship Banker in Irvine. The role is a trusted financial partner to members, combining service, sales, and problem-solving to help members navigate their financial journeys. The banker handles teller transactions, opens accounts, assists with consumer loan applications, recommends relevant financial products and services, and resolves member questions using a consultative, relationship-focused approach. Mandarin fluency is preferred. The role requires availability Monday through Saturday, during weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Hourly compensation depends on experience, internal equity, and level: Member Service Rep IV is $23.00–$25.00 per hour; Senior Rep I–II is $25.50–$27.00 per hour. Pre-employment background and credit checks are required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a bank or credit union.
- Hands-on experience with teller transactions, opening new accounts, and consumer lending.
- At least 2 years of cross-selling and referring financial products.
- Clear, friendly communication that is professional and approachable.
- Comfort learning and using multiple systems and platforms.
- Availability Monday through Saturday, with weekday availability between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturday availability between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment background and credit checks.
