About The Position

At Regions, the Relationship Banker II meets with customers and prospects in person and by phone to understand their financial needs and proactively offer appropriate products, services, and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals. The role is suited to candidates with retail or sales experience who are interested in career growth and development. Successful candidates are individually driven and competitive, work collaboratively toward shared goals, identify customer needs, and communicate effectively. The position is based at the Wallisville branch in Houston, Texas. It requires Saturday availability as needed, registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), and tracking hours worked in excess of 40 per week. The role is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act and for commission and formulaic incentive plans. The stated job-range target minimum is $51,193.42; the median is $61,227.60.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustaining attention to a monitor.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required.

Responsibilities

Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate guidance about Regions’ solutions.
Conduct outbound calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new customers.
Educate and advise customers on Regions’ consumer and business products and services, including loan and deposit types.
Educate customers on mobile, online, ATM, and other digital banking solutions.
Provide a consistent customer experience, including sharing responsibility for greeting customers and processing transactions.
Own and resolve customer issues.
Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial needs or goals are identified.
Follow bank processes and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, complete duties delegated by the Branch Manager, and help ensure sound banking practices by managing, identifying, and reporting operational risks.
