Rehab Therapist - Inpatient Mental Health 250
About The Position
Under supervision, the Rehabilitation Therapist provides rehabilitation therapy services to members served, individually and in groups. The position is with Pierce County Evaluation & Treatment Center (E&T) #250, a secure inpatient behavioral health program for adults experiencing acute psychiatric needs. The multidisciplinary team provides 24/7 evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and recovery-focused support in a structured, therapeutic environment, with the goal of helping individuals transition safely to the next level of care. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The expected starting wage range is $28.43–$35.13, with a full wage range up to $41.84. Telecare applies geographic differentials; the range assigned depends on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Occupational, Recreational, Music, Dance, Drama, or Art Therapy; Vocational Counseling; or a related field.
- Must meet any regulatory requirements for use of the relevant professional titles, specific to the program type or location.
- At least six months of experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Discipline certification or licensure may be required based on program licensure or accrediting body requirements.
