About The Position

Memorial Hospital for Belleville and Shiloh, IL has an exciting opportunity for a Rehab Supervisor. The supervisor acts as the main liaison for therapists, patients, and families, managing daily clinic operations. We are seeking a dynamic Rehab Therapist with strong leadership skills to thrive in our fast-paced hospital environment, fostering positivity and empathy within our expanding team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, covering both outpatient and inpatient services. A Speech Language Pathologist License is required, and leadership experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related field
• 2-5 years of experience
• Less than 2 years of Supervisor Experience
• Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise
• Speech Lanaguage Pathologist License required

Nice To Haves

• Leadership experience preferred
• Master's Degree

Responsibilities

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
• Directs, provides and ensures the delivery of outcome-oriented patient care in a safe, clean environment following all external regulations and internal quality standards.
• Plans, coordinates and supervises the clinical aspects of physical, occupational and speech therapies.
• Supervises the standard of proper documentation implemented and ensures it is maintained by department staff, within the proper time restraints required.
