About The Position

Prepares patients for treatment and assists therapists in treating patients. Maintains the Therapy Department, including its equipment and work areas, in a neat and orderly condition. Performs support tasks essential to the department's function, including transporting patients and supplies, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and handling basic messages and computer information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment by therapists and assist therapists during therapy.
• Independently transport patients to and from the department using a stretcher or wheelchair.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assist professional staff with ordering supplies; order linens and maintain the linen closet.
• Position patients for treatment and assist with transfers.
• Assemble and place equipment and supplies for use.
• Perform department support duties, including taking messages, entering and retrieving basic computer information, and messenger duties.
• Transport equipment and supplies.
• Assist in workshops as required.
• Perform related duties as required.
