Rehabilitation Aide
About The Position
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Aide assists physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and/or occupational therapists in providing rehabilitation services. Services are provided in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the Director of Rehabilitation Services, to help maintain the highest quality of patient care. Caregivers are expected to interact pleasantly, respectfully, and courteously with patients, families, staff, and hospital visitors, and to represent the hospital positively.
Requirements
- Upon hire, hold National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an aide capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and/or occupational therapists in providing rehabilitation services.
- Help maintain the highest degree of quality patient care while following applicable standards, guidelines, regulations, and direction from the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
- Interact pleasantly, respectfully, and courteously with patients, families, staff, and hospital visitors.
