About The Position

St. Luke’s Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients as they work toward recovery and greater independence. The role provides hands-on, patient-centered care and assistance with mobility and therapeutic activities in collaboration with physical therapists and an interdisciplinary care team. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time and based in the Physical Therapy department at Boise Hospital. Daytime schedules are available in 8- or 10-hour shifts, with typical schedules of 7:30 AM–6:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Weekend rotation may be required based on department needs.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Idaho certification.
Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI).

Responsibilities

Partner with rehabilitation therapists during treatment sessions, assisting patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and therapeutic activities.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes safety, comfort, and recovery.
Prepare treatment rooms and patient care areas according to established procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, including managing supplies, preparing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance activities.
Support efficient clinic operations with clerical and administrative tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to help ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
