About The Position

Anderson Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support patients at its 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The institute provides individualized rehabilitation for people recovering from severe injuries and illnesses, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The CNA assists nursing staff with patients’ personal care, emotional support, and activities of daily living. More complex duties are performed under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. This is a PRN position.

Requirements

• Completion of a nursing assistant course.
• Current state certification as a nursing assistant.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months or more of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patients’ personal care.
