Rehab Aide II
About The Position
Provides patient care within regulatory requirements and performs a broad range of non-patient-related tasks to support the department and staff. Duties may include cleaning and setting up patient treatment areas, moving patients, and performing clerical work such as checking patients in and out, scheduling, and making patient calls. Builds patient and family cooperation and confidence through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Follows applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to protect privacy and safety while delivering patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- One year of recent relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and organize multiple priorities while completing duties within expected timelines and requirements.
- Computer and required technology proficiency.
- Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Conflict resolution, teamwork and collaboration, customer service, and community relations skills.
- Ability to retain and apply new knowledge and skills.
