About The Position

Provides patient care within regulatory requirements and performs a broad range of non-patient-related tasks to support the department and staff. Duties may include cleaning and setting up patient treatment areas, moving patients, and performing clerical work. Builds patient and family confidence and cooperation, along with that of other healthcare providers, through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Follows local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to protect privacy and safety and deliver optimal patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS—Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of recent relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment and organize multiple priorities, completing duties within expected timelines and requirements.
• Computer and required technology proficiency.
• Professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Conflict resolution, teamwork and collaboration, customer service, and community relations skills.
• Ability to retain and apply new knowledge and skills.
