About The Position

The Faculty of Arts, Department of Communication is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course CMN5142-A00: Risk and Crisis Communication during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course examines the role of communication, particularly mass media and the internet, in high-risk situations such as conflict, war, disaster, emergency, and acts of terrorism. It will cover characteristics of modern risk societies, risk identification and management, the relationship between risk and crisis communication, and crisis management strategies, including case studies. The course is scheduled for Fridays from 14:30 to 17:30 and will be offered in person. Requirements

• Ph.D. in communication or a closely related discipline.
• Professional expertise in the subject matter.
• Teaching experience in the subject matter.
• Competence in the language of instruction (English).
