About The Position
The Faculty of Arts, Department of Communication is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach CMN2168-A00: Globalization and Communication during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course provides an overview of current issues and trends in the globalization of communication, including the transformation of communication spaces and social relations, new political and cultural identities forged by globalization, and new models of media ownership and control. The course is scheduled to be offered in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:30 to 19:00.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.A. in Communication with professional experience in Communication or related discipline.
- Competence in English (language of instruction).
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
Nice To Haves
- Specialization or teaching experience in the subject matter is recommended.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
