About The Position

This position is for an Elementary Italian I course (ITA1911 Section C) for the Fall 2026 semester. The course is designed for beginners with no prior knowledge of Italian, focusing on the acquisition of fundamental speaking, reading, and writing skills. It includes the study of vocabulary and grammar, oral and written practice, and utilizes computer-assisted learning, music, and video. The course is a lecture component and is intended for students with no knowledge of Italian.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Italian or equivalent.
• Italian-speaking or near-native linguistic competence in Italian.
• Experience in teaching Italian at beginner levels at the university.
• Experience in creating and managing virtual content and applications related to virtual teaching.
• Experience with Brightspace.
• Bilingual (French and English).
