About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach POL3124 - Politics of Security during the 2026 Fall Semester. The course introduces the study of strategies, tactics, institutions, theories, and practices of international security, with topics including insecurity, war, surveillance, borders, technologies, environment, terror, and militarization. The course will be offered in English and is scheduled for Tuesdays from 13:00 to 14:30 and Thursdays from 11:30 to 13:00. Requirements
- Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of the course
- Teaching experience in the field
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training (as may be modified by provincial law)
