The Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nutrition Sciences is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Fundamentals of Food Risk Analysis (NUT5106 Section A) for the Fall 2026 semester. This course will cover regulatory and voluntary tools for managing risk in the food industry, including conducting food risk assessments using case studies. It will also address strategies to minimize risks from microbial, chemical, and allergen contamination, the application of a decision-making framework for health risk management, best practices in risk communication, and an examination of international food risk analysis activities. The course is a lecture component and is designated as a Type "C" course, involving written assignments and examinations that are not computer-marked. This course is being offered for the first time and will be delivered online.
