About The Position

The Faculty of Health Sciences, School of Nutrition Sciences is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach NUT4185 A - Food Toxicology for the Fall 2026 semester. This course explores the potential toxicity of substances in traditional and novel foods, covering recent scientific developments in natural toxins, genetically modified food, food supplements, food sensitivity and allergy, drinking water, products derived from food processing, agricultural chemicals, persistent organic pollutants, engineered nanomaterials, food additives, and veterinary drugs. The course component is a lecture, and the posting is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor. Requirements

  • Master degree in Food Sciences or its equivalent.
  • Experience in the field of the course.
  • If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to Food Sciences.

  • Competence in second language: Passive.
