About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Nutrition clinique III (NUT4502 Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course involves case studies and practical work related to nutritional disorders and diseases, the development of nutritional intervention plans, the method of writing a SOAP note, and the use of therapeutic diets and special dietary products. The course is a lecture-based course (Type B) with assignments or exams that cannot be computer-graded. The language of instruction is French.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences or an equivalent field.
- Relevant experience in professional practice and university teaching related to the course.
- Membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario or another Canadian province.
- If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training relates to Nutritional Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct case studies and practical work related to nutritional disorders and diseases.
- Develop nutritional intervention plans.
- Teach the method of writing a SOAP note.
- Instruct on the use of therapeutic diets and special dietary products.
- Deliver lectures in French for the course NUT4502 Section A.
