About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course NUT3530 A, Micronutrients and Phytochemicals, during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on the physicochemical properties of dietary micronutrients (vitamins, minerals) and phytonutrients, their presence, nature, and role in formulation, processing, and nutrition. It also covers the importance of these nutrients and bioactives for maintaining good health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. The course is a lecture-based format and will be taught in person on the Lees campus.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Food Science or equivalent.
• Experience in the subject matter of the course.
• If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must specify in their CV how their academic training relates to Food Sciences.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

Nice To Haves

• University teaching experience is an asset.
• Competence in a second language (Passive).
