About The Position
The Faculty of Arts, Department of Philosophy at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course "Scientific Thought and Social Values" (PHI2394, Section C00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course explores the nature of scientific thought and its relationships with culture, religion, politics, technology, and society. The teaching mode is in-person, with classes scheduled on Fridays from 17:30 to 20:20. Requirements
- Ph.D. in Philosophy.
- Experience in teaching at the university level in Philosophy.
- Ability to teach in English.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.

Responsibilities
