About The Position

This is a posting for a Regular Part-Time Professor in the Civil Law Section for the course 'DROIT INTERNATIONAL PRIVÉ' (Course Code: DRC3501, Section: CC00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The position is located at the Main Campus. The course is 3 credits, with an expected enrolment of 80 students, and requires 39 work hours for the semester. The language of instruction is French, with a requirement for passive competence in a second language. The hourly teaching rate is $239.47 (based on 2024-2025 rates), which does not include vacation or statutory pay, and will be retroactively adjusted upon ratification of a new collective agreement. Responsibilities

Teach the course 'DROIT INTERNATIONAL PRIVÉ' (DRC3501/4796) covering methods of conflict resolution, determination of international jurisdiction and applicable law in private international relations, and conditions for recognition and enforcement of foreign decisions.
