About The Position
This is a hands-on, team-based introduction to engineering design for engineers and computer scientists. Topics include design thinking, engineering design process, prototyping, engineering economics, safety, ethics and project management. The posting is limited to a Regular Part-Time Professor.
Requirements
- Expertise in hands-on, open ended engineering design from industry or academia.
- Must be a registered engineer in one of the provinces of Canada.
- PhD will be considered first.
- Civil engineering candidates are required for this term.
Responsibilities
- Teach Engineering Design course (GNG1103 Section C)
- Cover topics including design thinking, engineering design process, prototyping, engineering economics, safety, ethics and project management.
