About The Position

A hands-on, team-based introduction to engineering design for engineers and computer scientists. Topics include design thinking, engineering design process, prototyping, engineering economics, safety, ethics and project management.

Requirements

  • Expertise in hands-on, open ended engineering design from industry or academia.
  • Must be a registered engineer in one of the provinces of Canada.
  • PhD will be considered first.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Engineering Design course GNG1103 Section A.
  • Deliver instruction in English.
  • Conduct classes on Tuesdays from 11:30-13:00 and Fridays from 13:00-14:30.
