About The Position
This course covers the fundamental characteristics of laws and their applications concerning contracts, agencies, properties, water rights, various forms of business structures, sales, insurance, services, employment, governmental regulation of businesses, means of negotiation, bankruptcies, invention patents, copyrights, and trademarks. It also addresses ethical responsibilities and professional registrations, with a particular emphasis on contractual documents used in construction work.
Requirements
- Experience and/or specialization in the course subject matter and teaching material.
- Must hold a legal degree/license in law.
- P. Eng or IET is an asset.

Responsibilities
- Teach the course material for Droit pour les ingénieurs (GNG4570 Section A).
- Adhere to the course schedule, which is Thursdays from 14:30 to 17:30.
- Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
- Potentially adapt teaching methods based on student needs and feedback.
