About The Position

The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach PSY3105, The Psychology of Adolescence, during the Fall 2026 semester. This course focuses on the physical, emotional, social, moral, and intellectual development of adolescents, as well as problems in personal, social, and sexual maturity, and current research in the field. The course component is a lecture and will be delivered in person. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Advanced knowledge of the course content area
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
  • Ability to maintain the original assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).

Nice To Haves

  • Competence in a second language (passive)

Responsibilities

  • Teach PSY3105, The Psychology of Adolescence, during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
  • Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
  • Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor if aware in advance of an upcoming absence.
