About The Position

This is a posting for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the 2026 Fall Semester in the Civil Law Section. The role involves teaching the course "Ordre juridique autochtone et droit de la famille" (DCC1512, Section A00). The course provides an introduction to Indigenous and Quebecois law in the field of family relations, covering specific topics such as customary child care, customary adoption, and ceremonies for children. The instruction format is a lecture course, delivered virtually on Wednesdays from 17:00-20:00. The position is for 1.5 credits with 19.5 work hours, paid at an hourly rate of $239.47 (2024-2025 rates). Requirements

Expertise in Indigenous and Quebecois law in the field of family relations
Knowledge of specific subjects such as customary child care, customary adoption, and ceremonies for children
