About The Position

This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor for the course POL4591, Section A00, titled "Thèmes choisis en études critiques de sécurité et de la guerre" during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will analyze critical efforts to rethink the study of war, security, and militarism, examining the role of discourses, practices, and objects through selected themes. It will explore various theoretical and methodological approaches for evaluating and analyzing events, processes, and policies associated with the subfield. The course is offered in French and will be delivered in person, though the mode of instruction may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

  • Doctorate or doctoral coursework in the field of the announced course.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • This course is posted for PhD students.
  • Clearly indicate skills and qualifications in the CV.
