The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course PAP3740: Les ressources humaines dans les organisations publiques for the Fall 2026 semester. This course examines the normative and institutional foundations of public administration personnel management, including the non-partisanship of the civil service, the merit principle, and employment equity. It covers policies, principles, and approaches related to personnel management dimensions such as planning, recruitment, performance evaluation, and training and development, as well as public sector labor relations and the senior public service. The course will be delivered in person, but the teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons.
