About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the Fall 2026 semester in the Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies. The course, POL4550 - Systèmes éléctoraux et les partis politiques, will analyze major electoral systems and theories on voting and political parties, focusing on their role in political representation, with a particular emphasis on Canada. The course is scheduled for Fridays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and is expected to have an enrollment of 40 students. The course will be offered in person, but the teaching mode may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

Doctorate or doctoral coursework in the field of the announced course.
Teaching experience in the field.
The course will be offered in person.
Competence in a second language (French is the language of instruction, implying English proficiency is required).
