The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the Fall 2026 semester to teach POL4554 - Le parlementarisme au Canada. This course will cover the principles of parliamentarism, the evolution of the parliamentary system, the roles of Parliament and parliamentarians, the legislative process, parliamentary committees, accountability, the organization of the executive and central agencies, and the relationship between Parliament and the executive. It will also include a comparison with other parliamentary systems. The course is scheduled to be offered online in a synchronous format with live instruction. The University provides training for online course delivery, and the teaching method may be adjusted due to public health measures or other reasons.
