About The Position

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for Introduction to Computer Science II (ITI1521, Section A) for the 2027 Winter Semester. This course covers object-oriented programming, abstraction principles (masking and encapsulation), linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search trees, iterative and recursive data structure processing, and virtual machines. Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the course content, demonstrated by teaching similar courses or relevant employment experience.
  • Regular applicants must have obtained a doctorate in a field relevant to the course subject, particularly for specialized courses, or have relevant work experience after obtaining their doctorate.
  • Completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
