About The Position

Theories about the relations between media, power elites, and mass culture. Study of the main American and European schools of thought. From the technological (McLuhan prophecies) to the symbolic and socio-political dimensions (feminist and cultural studies).

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.A. in Communication (preferably).
• Professional experience or expertise directly related to the course content.
• Excellent knowledge of theories of the media.
• Ability to teach in English.

Responsibilities

• Teach Theories of the Media course (CMN2160-D00) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
• Deliver course content in English.
• Conduct the course in person.
