About The Position
The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course DVM4540 L'entreprise privée et le développement (3 credits) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course examines the evolving role of private enterprise and its importance in the conceptualization, financing, service delivery, and legitimacy of international development. The course will be delivered in person and is a seminar-style course. Prerequisites include 54 university credits, including DVM 2505 and DVM 2506. The course schedule is Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 9:50 AM and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM. Requirements
- Completed or in the process of completing a Doctorate in international development or a related field.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
