The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Federalism (POL3174, Section A00) during the 2026 Fall Semester. This course will cover main concepts and theoretical approaches in the analysis of federalism, its normative foundations, the Canadian federal system in a comparative perspective, and central themes such as identity, diversity, relations with Indigenous peoples, regional inequalities, and secession. The course will be offered online in a scheduled, synchronous format with live instruction. The University provides training in online course delivery, and the teaching method may be modified due to public health measures or other reasons.
