About The Position
This is a posting for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the 2027 Winter Semester in the Civil Law Section at Fauteux Hall. The role involves teaching the course "Régime fiscal de l'entreprise" (Corporate Tax Regime), which is a 3-credit course with an expected enrolment of 80 students. The course description includes the notion of enterprise, rules for taxing business income, tax implications of surplus distribution, business acquisition and sale, section 85 I.T.A. rollover, buy-sell agreements, valuation, and business financing. The instruction language is French, and the course is scheduled for Tuesdays from 19:00-22:00, in-person. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (based on 2024-2025 rates). Requirements
- Knowledge of Régime fiscal des entreprises, Notion d'entreprise, rules concerning the imposition of business income, tax implications of surplus distribution, business acquisition and sale, section 85 L.I.R. rollover, buy-sell agreements, valuation, and business financing
- Passive competence in a second language
- Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training
- Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority
