About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Introduction to Psychology: Foundations (PSY1102, Section C00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers emotions, motivation, personality, mental health, abnormal behavior, therapeutic approaches, social psychology, and historical perspectives. The course is offered in person and is taught in English. The expected enrollment is 350 students, and it is a 3-credit course.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology
- Comprehensive knowledge of the different fields of Psychology
- Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to Psychology: Foundations (PSY1102, Section C00).
- Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
- Inform the School of Psychology Secretariat promptly if a class needs to be canceled.
- Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in case of an upcoming absence.
