About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach the course 'Droit de l’entreprise I : Formes juridiques de l’entreprise' (DRC2501, Section BB00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on business law, including the notion of enterprise, legal advertising, corporate personality, and various legal forms of business organization such as sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, and trusts. It also covers rules related to the creation, management, liability, and dissolution of businesses. The course is a lecture-based format and will be taught in French.

Publicité légale des entreprises.
Personnalité morale.
Formes juridiques d’organisation de l’entreprise : entreprise individuelle, société de personnes, société par actions, coopérative, organisme à but non lucratif, fiducie.
Survol des règles entourant la création, la gestion, la responsabilité et la dissolution d’une entreprise.

Responsibilities

Teach the course 'Droit de l’entreprise I : Formes juridiques de l’entreprise' (DRC2501, Section BB00).
Deliver lectures in French.
Cover topics including the notion of enterprise and its consequences in the Civil Code of Quebec, legal advertising, corporate personality, and various legal forms of business organization.
Address rules surrounding the creation, management, liability, and dissolution of businesses.
