About The Position

Cours d’introduction au droit des sociétés où les sujets suivants sont abordés : les concepts juridiques et fiduciaux dans le contexte commercial, les types de sociétés, la responsabilité des associés, le contrat de société, la personne morale, les formalités constitutives et l’organisation de la société, le financement par émission d’actions, la structure et le fonctionnement de la société, les droits des actionnaires, la responsabilité des administrateurs et administratrices et des dirigeants et dirigeantes et les recours judiciaires des actionnaires.

Requirements

• LL.B. or J.D. (or equivalent).
• Member in good standing of the Ontario Bar (or equivalent).
• Significant experience in corporate law practice.
• Must be a regular part-time professor.

Nice To Haves

• Previous university-level teaching experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach CML2702 Droit des sociétés (Corporate Law) during the 2026 Fall Semester.
• Cover topics including legal and fiduciary concepts in a business context, types of corporations, partner liability, partnership agreements, legal personality, incorporation and organization, financing through share issuance, corporate structure and governance, shareholder rights, director and officer liability, and shareholder remedies.
