About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course PHI4711-A00, "Problèmes de philosophie politique contemporaine" (Contemporary Political Philosophy Problems), during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will analyze contemporary debates such as liberalism in a context of cultural diversity, social justice, and the critique of liberal democracy, with readings from authors like Rawls, Habermas, and Taylor. The teaching mode is in-person, with the class scheduled for Mondays from 14:30 to 17:20. The hiring process will be governed by the current APTPUO collective agreements.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Philosophy.
- Experience teaching philosophy at the university level.
- Course plan must be approved by the undergraduate studies director of the Department of Philosophy.
Responsibilities
