Registration Supervisor

About The Position

The Ambulatory Registration department currently operates without a dedicated Supervisor level role, relying instead on Registration Managers to absorb supervisory responsibilities. This structure has resulted in role misalignment. Ambulatory Registration Leads are frequently filling staffing gaps and monitoring WQ’s while Managers are performing daily supervisory tasks, that take away from their ability to complete managerial level responsibilities. The Registration Supervisor assists in the management of all operations within their work area. This includes management of staff, operational processes, and programmatic services. This is a working supervision position and includes interviewing patients and/or their family members, accurate insurance coding, problem solving operational issues, and maintaining accurate census. The supervisor coordinates the registration process from pre-registration to patients’ arrival at the point of care, emphasizing quality service and customer satisfaction.
