About The Position

This role assists with ensuring accurate and timely execution of responsibilities among designated staff consistent with hospital standards, policies, procedures, operational goals and objectives. The position provides progressive support to area staff and assists with programs promoting continual quality improvement and corporate compliance. These positions report to the Admitting Manager.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated progressive experience in Admitting/Registration setting is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical terminology, and/or insurance billing.
• Basic computer skills and ADT system proficiency.
• Accurate data entry skills are critical.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and dedication to follow through.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Certification from the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) is required or must be obtained within 12 months of position start date.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 3 years of focused experience in Admitting/Registration setting is preferred.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience is preferred.
