About The Position

Performs patient registration in the Main Registration and Emergency Department Registration areas, including collecting, entering, and verifying demographic, insurance, and financial information in a computer database. Directs patients and/or family members as appropriate and displays exemplary customer service. This position is responsible for Emergency Department registration. The employee may also be asked by their manager to follow other instructions and perform other duties.

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter, and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial information in a computer database.
• Register patients in the Emergency Department and Main Registration areas.

• Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
