About The Position

Success Academy is a rapidly growing network of public charter schools in New York, expanding to Florida. They are dedicated to providing a rigorous, whole-child education to all students, regardless of their background. The Registrar plays a crucial role in the academic operations of their school, serving as the guardian of scholar data. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate academic records, managing adult and scholar rostering, individual scholar scheduling, and monitoring scholars' promotion readiness, including graduation requirements. The Registrar owns the systems and processes that ensure this data is accurate, compliant, and current.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the accuracy of academic records across rostering, gradebook, and enrollment data in eSD.
  • Reviews and approves outputs across academic systems.
  • Maintains the integrity of records in the systems as the source of truth, and manages downstream consistency across connected platforms.
  • Serves as the school-level point of contact for all roster changes, schedule adjustments, and gradebook updates.
  • Submits and reviews requests through the academic operations portal.
  • Resolves exceptions and non-standard cases that require direct intervention.
  • Identifies and escalates recurring data discrepancies across systems.
  • Manages scholar ELL statuses and testing accommodations, ensuring continuous compliance and accuracy throughout the year.
  • Manages assessment security and execution logistics, including ensuring secure storage, handling, and distribution of all paper-based (K–1, Regents, and other high-stakes paper-based exams) and digital materials.
  • Supports faculty and school leaders with the systems used to administer digital assessments.
  • Develops and maintains fluency across all SA academic platforms, staying current as the data ecosystem evolves.
  • Directs school staff to self-serve data tools and centrally provisioned resources; generates targeted reports for complex needs.
  • Identifies recurring system and data entry issues, sharing patterns with the network team to drive operational process improvements.
  • Trains school staff on system capabilities and best practices, fostering a transparent and communicative culture around data accuracy and scholar performance.
