The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a Registrar Analyst to perform specific operational functions within Curriculum Management and Degree Audit in the Office of the Registrar’s Progression & Completion Enrollment Management unit. This role reports to the Assistant Registrar for Curriculum and Academic Services and operates with moderate supervision. The Registrar Analyst will update student records in degree audit, encode degree audit reports, troubleshoot errors, assist in maintaining the undergraduate catalog, and support the technical review and implementation of program proposals in Acalog, MyUNLV, and uAchieve. This position involves making decisions on job-related matters, interacting with university colleagues and faculty, and enforcing policies on registration, enrollment, and graduation. The role requires discretion, analytical observation, independent judgment, and adherence to strict confidentiality and FERPA regulations. The uAchieve report is crucial for students to track degree progress, with the office handling approximately 500+ degree audit exceptions monthly. UNLV offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, necessitating updates and maintenance of curriculum tables during catalog cycles. All positions in Academic Affairs contribute to the university's mission of increasing enrollment and promoting equitable student success by addressing systemic obstacles and implementing strategic services, programs, and support.
