About The Position
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for the Integrated Stroke Unit/Telemetry department in Stratford, ON. This is a temporary part-time position. HPHA is an organization that influences proactive change, embraces partnerships, harnesses performance, and values its people to advance the healthcare system. It is a multi-site organization including Clinton Public Hospital, St. Marys Memorial Hospital, Seaforth Community Hospital, and Stratford General Hospital.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Recent Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course or equivalent (current experience)
- Recent 12 lead ECG interpretation course, or equivalent (current experience)
Nice To Haves
- Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Cardiac Care and Acute Stroke/Stroke Rehab Nursing preferred
- Recent related courses, in-services in Cardiac Care Nursing and Acute Stroke/Stroke Rehab Nursing preferred
