About The Position

The Registered Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients, making clinical decisions about nursing care, ensuring care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating care for groups of patients. The role requires patient care and is based onsite at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown. The position is per diem with a rotating shift and scheduled weekly hours of 0.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing required; experience cannot be substituted for a degree.
Registered Nurse state license required.
0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
Familiarity with principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
Knowledge of care requirements for the age groups served.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
