About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to a nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide patient care. This includes interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, teaching patients and families about post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse when appropriately certified. The position is at Tavares Rehab and is a full-time night role. Requirements
- Hold a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license if the state participates.
- Have current BLS certification.
- Provide evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
