Requirements

• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
• If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
• Conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

• At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, and mental health status
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using nursing diagnosis and treatment methods
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer and track medications and evaluate responses to treatment
• Provide education, guidance, and on the job training to non professional nursing personnel
• Use therapeutic communication and maintain daily clinical documentation
