About The Position
Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the Indianapolis Campus. The RN provides comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing them, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The role is within a team-oriented care environment and requires flexibility in meeting patient-care needs. The PACU includes 10 operating rooms, 18 pre-/post-operative rooms, and 14 PACU bays. The schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., four days per week, with minimal call and minimal weekends. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient-care needs.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Critical care nursing experience is preferred.
