About The Position

Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the Indianapolis Campus. The nurse provides comprehensive patient and family care by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing and reassessing those plans, and evaluating each patient's care. The PACU includes 10 operating rooms, 18 pre/post rooms, and 14 PACU bays. The role is scheduled four days per week, 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with minimal call and minimal weekends. Travel is required.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Indiana or a state listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Team-oriented and willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
• Experienced critical care nurse preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospital setting.
